Ron’Netta Tyjuan LeDoux-Henderson’s journey is a fascinating one, marked by a deep connection to her roots, a love for the arts, and a commitment to personal expression. Born in Mobile, Alabama, she was influenced by her southern-Creole background, frequently visiting New Orleans and absorbing the culture. Her artistic inclinations began at a young age, with a keen interest in acting, writing, and performing. Her mother’s involvement in local theater helped shape Ron’Netta’s appreciation for verbal expression.
Although she started with ballet and tap dancing, Ron’Netta soon gravitated towards acting, influenced by her early exposure to poetry and her mother’s performances. She honed her craft by reciting poetry for church congregations and later began writing her own works. Throughout her high school years, she dabbled in various artistic pursuits, including a brief involvement in her school’s drama club and music, but found the opportunities in Mobile, AL, lacking.
After attending John Casablanca’s Modeling & Talent Agency and studying drama at Bishop State Community College, Ron’Netta faced frustration with the limited artistic outlets in her area. She then shifted to nursing but continued expressing herself through rap and writing. Her creative journey led her to New York, where she explored writing and publishing, eventually self-publishing three novels: Extradited: Murder Was the Case That They Gave Me, Ecstasy, and PUSSIfication: The Prostitute’s Revenge.
Despite the challenges of breaking into both the acting and publishing industries, Ron’Netta never gave up on her passions. She returned to New York, where she is now pursuing acting while also balancing family life as a married mother of three. Her background in both nursing and the arts, coupled with her resilience, makes her story one of perseverance and multi-faceted talent.
